We returned to Lombok, Indonesia to complete our 17th Clean Water Project
Sadly here in these villages the water is contaminated and unsafe to drink
We begin with the demonstration showing the communities how the filters work, cleaning the dirtiest water into safe, clean drinking water
We always drink the water first to show it is safe, then we give everyone a chance to try the clean water
It is amazing to see the happiness clean water brings
We then teach the community how to backwash the filter, this is crucial and will ensure they will work well over 10 years
